Intensive, online master-classes for those wanting to take their writing to the next level…

Themes and PATTERNS – Friday 30TH APRIL 2021last two spaces available – guest author confirmed as ZOE Somerville

A one day, online, masterclass on how to work with subplots to enhance and strengthen the overall theme of your novel. The focus of this class will be on working to keep stories coherent, ensuring they resonate to their full potential. We’ll be looking at how to ensure that the theme runs throughout the story (and its subplots) and we’ll be joined by Zoe Somerville in the evening’s guest spot.  Zoë is a novelist and English teacher. Her first novel, The Night of the Flood was published by Head of Zeus in September 2020. It is inspired by her home county, Norfolk and the devastating flood of the 1950s. Her second novel The Marsh House, will be released in 2022 and is set during the Big Freeze of 1962 and the early 1930s and she is currently writing her third novel. After completing a creative writing MA at Bath Spa University in 2016, Zoe now combines writing and tutoring.
