Workshops – Workshops last one hour and are intended to be structured and informative. Tutors will include Anna Chilvers, Ali Harper and a Guest Author (TBA)
Exercise Classes – Working in smaller groups, a chance to put into practice the tips from the workshops. Will include practical writing exercises designed for both poets and prose writers, and a chance to share work. These sessions will be interactive and fun (and no star jumps, we promise…)
Focus Groups – A chance to work in small groups (approx. 4 writers per group) to give constructive feedback.
Writing Time – Afternoons have been set aside for private writing time. This may involve developing exercises started during the workshops, or working on your own projects. All bedrooms have a writing space but there is also a private lounge for our exclusive use that will be set up as a quiet writing room.
Walking and Writing – A chance to explore the local environment with a silent group walk
Seminars – Taught sessions in smaller groups and you can choose which you’d like to attend. They’re intended to be practical and will focus on a particular technical aspect of writing.
Evening Sessions are all informal and interactive.
Details of each workshop and seminar, plus the guest author will be released nearer the time. If you have any questions regarding the content of the course please don’t hesitate to get in touch: firstname.lastname@example.org
